Arctic Trails Hiking

  • Guided Hike

Experience the rugged beauty of Lofoten on foot with a guided hike that’s built for all levels and all ages. This is a relaxed, immersive adventure led by a local expert, giving you both the knowledge and the visuals to truly remember your day in the Arctic. We hike Glomtinden and Kleppstadheia, with Glomtinden as the main choice, offering panoramic views without requiring alpine fitness. No matter which trail we take, the focus is on the experience, not the distance.

  • Nature

This hike is all about slowing down and soaking up the raw, untouched nature of Arctic Norway. Expect wide-open skies, jagged peaks, fjords shimmering below, and the kind of scenery that forces you to stop and stare. These trails are chosen specifically because they offer the best of Lofoten’s mountain magic without pushing physical limits. Whether it's spring bloom, summer green, or autumn gold, the trails adapt to the season and your pace.

  • The Trail

We keep things simple: no “easy” or “hard” versions—just one incredible trail, adjusted to suit the group. Your guide sets the pace, offers support, and always puts safety first. Hiking poles are included to make things easier on the legs, and the entire experience is designed to feel adventurous but accessible. Expect a half-day in nature, with time to breathe, move, and marvel.

  • The Hike

The full experience lasts around four hours, including transport to and from the trail. We run the hikes from May through November, weather dependent. You don’t need previous hiking experience, but a basic level of physical fitness is helpful—this is the mountains, after all. If there is snow or ice we will provide snowshoes and microspikes.
