No food tour is complete without a tasting session of Lofoten’s finest local products. What You Need To Know
Where do we meet?
We will collect you from your hotel in Svolvær - let us know where you are staying when you book. If you are travelling to Svolvær for the tour we will meet you at the reception of Svinøya Rorbuer where there is free parking available.
What time do we start?
We will collect you at approximately 09:30. The reason we say ‘approximately’ is because we may have to collect people from several hotels. We will have you back by about 13:30.
When does this tour operate?
Taste Lofoten is available to book between 1st September and 31st May. If you want a private tour or a larger group tour, please contact us.
What’s included in the price?
Transport and Guiding is included. Making (and eating) cinnamon buns is included, tasting the flavours of Lofoten in the museum cabin is included, and a reservation with a set menu at Børsen Spiseri is included. If you bring your camera, your guide will help you get great photos.
What is the level of difficulty?
This tour is easy. There is some gentle walking involved. This tour is suitable for those aged 12 and up.
What else do I need to know?
If you choose to add-on the dinner at Børsen Spiseri your table will be booked for 18:00/6pm on the same date as your tour. To change your booking time or date simply call or e-mail them. It’s important to dress appropriately and wear good shoes. We will be inside for the activities, but need to move between them so dress for the weather. If you have any allergies of food intolerances please let us know, and let Børsen Spiseri know. This tour includes meat, fish and dairy items, among other things.
