What We’re Looking For:

• Local Knowledge: An understanding of Lofoten’s geography, history, and culture. Training will be given to enhance your knowledge.

• Excellent Communication: Fluent English (other languages are a plus) and the ability to engage with diverse groups.

• Customer Service Skills: A friendly, approachable demeanor that ensures every guest feels welcome and cared for.

• Passion for the Outdoors: A love for hiking, photography, and exploring Lofoten’s natural beauty.

• Flexible Availability: Ability to work on-demand during peak seasons from our base in Svolvær.

• Driving Skills: All guides must have a kjøreseddel to drive our vehicles with guests, and be used to driving in challenging, Arctic conditions.

• Aurora Guides: For the Ultimate Aurora Hunt, it’s important to understand the mechanics of the aurora and be able to take quality photos of guests.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead small-group tours showcasing Lofoten’s iconic sites, such as its picturesque fishing villages, dramatic fjords, and pristine beaches.

• Provide fascinating insights and stories about the region’s history, wildlife, and way of life.

• Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests while delivering a memorable experience.
